How we handle your information

Who this is for

Students and parents or guardians applying to the Saksham Scholarship Program, and institutions and donors who deal with the program. "We", "us" and "the program" mean the Saksham Scholarship Program, run by MI Secunderabad.

What we collect, and why

Screening, verification, scoring, interview, vote and payment recordsRequired by the program's own accountability rules, and for the audit trail

We do not collect more than this, and we never use your data to advertise to you.

Who sees what

A member with a conflict of interest (a relative, your institution, or the donor funding your award) declares it and is then blocked from seeing your file at all.

How long we keep it

For as long as you hold the scholarship, plus the period Indian law requires for financial and tax records afterwards. The exact period is being confirmed with MI Secunderabad.

We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent or trade your personal data, and share it with no one beyond the roles listed above, except where the law requires it.

Your choices

WhatsApp/SMS messages are optional; every update also appears in the portal. Reply STOP at any time. You can ask to see or correct your data, or raise a concern, through the grievance process below.

How to complain or ask a question

Write to the Project Convenor, Madhu Paprunia (99486 77990), use the grievance form in your portal, or the public form if you are not a student. We acknowledge within 3 working days and decide within 30 days.
